Dispatches from my table
Notes and thoughts from a curious eater and drinker in the form of two distinct newsletters
The Welsh Kitchen
Welsh food, drink and culture
Every month I dig into what’s growing, fermenting, cooking and thriving in Welsh food and drink culture, from cawl to craft beer, seaweed foragers to Michelin-starred restaurants, forgotten recipes to innovators in the Welsh food scene. In five years, I’ve built one of the most engaged communities of Welsh food lovers anywhere in the world with more than 1,000 subscribers across the globe.
Sponsorship and partnership opportunities available for brands whose values align with quality, provenance and Welsh culture. Get in touch to discuss.
Ross on Wine
Wine, place and the stories behind the bottle
For me, wine has always been inseparable from place – maybe it’s because I’ve been a travel writer for more than a decade. Whether it’s the volcanic soils of Lanzarote or the wilds of Pembrokeshire, every grape tells a story, and every glass is a reason to go travel. Ross on Wine is where I write about what I’m drinking, where it comes from, and why it matters – without the ratings, snobbery or jargon. I’m biased towards wines with a great story, and always happy to recommend something you haven’t tried before. Launching soon – sign up to be first to receive it.
