Like Bob Hoskins in those old BT adverts, I love to talk. It's one of the reasons I became a journalist all those years ago. I also enjoy passing on my skills, knowledge and experience. It's one of the reasons that I'm a lecturer on the MA in Magazine Journalism at Cardiff University. I get to talk about storytelling all day. I'm an experienced presenter and for the past two years have hosted the Wine & Spirits Theatre at the National Geographic Traveller Food Festival in London. I also give talks, training and workshops to content teams and students on topics such as storytelling, travel writing, food writing, content marketing, and magazine journalism. I'm also regularly asked to be a judge for major industry awards such as the PPA Next Gen Awards, International Content Marketing Awards, Guild of Food Writers Awards, Australian Society of Travel Writers.
